Some crazy Stag Fans from Perryville, MO From left to right, Matt Unterreiner, Eric Miget, Cory Buchheit, & David Berkbigler
Left - Shawn Hart, Right - Derick White The following 5 pics and email are from Jan & Pete in Belleville, Illinois. We saw your article on the Stag Silo in the BND and appreciated your attitude. We had collected a fair amount of items ourselves, either from Chick Fritz or at the brewery when they still used to give it away for free and then more by purchase.. We had many friends that used to work at the brewery until it closed. When our daughter grew up and moved out, we had to do something with her bedroom, so we built a place to display what we had. I have included a few snaps to share with you. We often take road trips in your area, so we may drop in some day to see the silo in person.
The following is an email from Marcella Haerle:
Hi We lived in New Franklin, MO and my beloved Jim passed away 10 years ago and there was one can of Stag beer in our fridge and he had left one in our daughters fridge and we both still have those cans of Stag in our fridge. I moved to Newburgh, IN to be closer to my daughter and her family in 2005 and you guessed it, the can of Stag beer came with me.
That is my tribute to Jim and Stag beer. Red Lehr is looking for info on the following Stag Logo & Artwork Email me if you have any info for him.
